I like the X Factor but I prefer the Xtra Factor which is supposed to be ‘behind the scenes’ look. Mainly because it’s presented by Holly Willoughby (mmmmmmmm) and she is a master at subtle piss take. Some of it seems a bit set up so focusing on that helps relieve my guilt about watching people get ‘humiliated’. Anyone want to set up a support group?

I think "You've been framed" and "Noel's House Party" have a lot to answer for – encouraging the enjoyment of people's misfortune.

No wait – it not the vast majority of comedy not based on other people's misfortune/mockery/shame?

So we're really just got ourselves to blame. As @sandymacd said – turn off the TV, speak to someone or just read a book.

Takes me back to school days and "why don't you?". That's what I did last weekend. Expect more again this weekend.
